A day on Îlet Oscar, in the heart of Le François bay
Îlet Oscar is about fifteen minutes by boat from Le François, on the edge of the white sandbanks. It is home to a guesthouse in a Creole wooden house and the remains of an old lime kiln, and it is a protected nature area.
Our full day brings together the best of the bay: in the morning, the guided tour of the islets and Joséphine’s Bathtub; at noon, lunch on the islet (meat or fish, with a drink); in the afternoon, free time by the water before the boat back around 5 pm. An easy way to enjoy a real islet day in Martinique, with no car and no planning.
